Club Rules & Regulations

The following rules and regulations are for the protection and the benefit of all members. These rules have been established to assure safe and sanitary operations of the pool facilities.

Safety Notice

The following rules and regulations are for the protection and the benefit of all members. These rules have been established to assure safe and sanitary operations of the pool facilities. Parents are requested to caution their children to observe all rules and obey instructions of the pool Managers and other OSC employees. Any failure to comply with these rules shall be considered sufficient cause for immediate suspension of pool privileges for the offending member for a period of 1 to 7 days and can also be considered sufficient cause for cancellation of club membership with no refund.

GENERAL CONDUCT

Keep the facilities clean by always placing trash in the garbage.

No smoking, vaping, electronic smoking devices or use of any tobacco products are allowed on pool grounds, including the parking lot.

Admission to the pool may be refused to anyone with colds, coughs, inflamed eyes, infections or wearing bandages. The OSC pool management decision shall be final.

No pets allowed on club property.

No alcohol allowed on club property.

Eating is allowed in the picnic area only, with the exception of small snacks. Please be sure to clean up after yourselves at all times.

Furniture is not permitted on the concrete deck areas.

No glass containers of any kind are permitted on club grounds.

POOL CONDUCT

No running on the pool deck.

No pushing, wrestling, or causing undue disturbances in or around the pool areas.

No throwing or pushing others in the pool.

Diving is only permitted from the diving board. Only one bounce is allowed on the diving board before jumping into the pool.

Water squirters may only be used in the main pool and the Rossi pool. During high occupancy times, lifeguards and managers may restrict the use of squirters in the pools and on the property.

Ball throwing is permitted in the pools. During high occupancy times, lifeguards and managers may restrict ball throwing of any kind in all pools.

Swim aides must be Coast Guard Certified (such as puddle jumpers) and are only allowed in the Rossi pool and the shallow ends of the main pool. Other swim aids (such as water wings) are not permitted.

Only potty-trained children are allowed in the lap and main pools. Children with swim diapers are permitted in the kiddie and Rossi pools only.

Children must be supervised by an adult at all times, other than a guard. OSC Managers discretion will be enforced.

Use of the kiddie pool should be limited to children under six years of age and must be supervised by an adult other than a lifeguard.

No rigid plastic or metal toys will be allowed in the kiddie pool.

Only children over 12 (and have graduated 6th grade) who have passed the swim test given by OSC pool management may enter the pool grounds without and adult.

The lap section of the back pool is for members of all ages. Please be courteous to the fellow lap swimmers and circle swim if the pool is crowded.

The 11-foot Hopper section of the back pool is for members ages 18 and over.

Minors must be accompanied by an adult when using the restrooms, locker rooms or showers. All persons using any of the OSC facilities, do so at their own risk.

The club will not be responsible for any accident or injury in connection with such use.

The club will not be responsible for loss or damage to personal property and encourages that all valuables be left at home.

Guest Policy

$18.00 PER GUEST

2026 SEASON RATE

There are NO REFUNDS for guest fees. If we close early due to inclement weather, you are welcome to return with your guest later on the same day. No rainchecks for another day.

Members must accompany and remain with their guests. Members are not permitted to provide entry to guests and then leave the property. Teens are not allowed to bring guests

Parties

Members are permitted to host parties at the OSC. The cost is $18 per guest. There is no fee for current members. Payment is due at the front office on the day of your event.

For non-members, we offer a party package for a fee of $500 for up to 20 guests and $25 for each additional guest. The $500 fee is due at the time of booking and payment for additional guests is due at the front office on the day of the event

​

To schedule a party, please email oradellswimclub@gmail.com. Please include your name, the name/type of the event, proposed date, proposed rain date, and the number of anticipated guests. 

​

The club reserves the right to deny a party request.
